Hi.
Tip 1: Figure out what software is best for you
Tip 2: Work out what kind of DJ you are and what kind of workflow you have/want
Tip 3: Read the “Controller Buyers Guide 2014” to find out what controllers support your software AND your workflow
Tip 4: Remove all controllers from the shortlist that are outside your budget
Tip 5: Try to get some hands-on experience (in a store is fine) with your top 2 or 3 choices
We can not comment on what is the best controller option for two reasons: 1) only you know exactly what you are looking for and no controller is better/worse than another. There are levels of controllers from toys, through entry/beginner level & prosumer to medium and high-end. But within those segments it’s impossible to say which is the BEST.
2) It’s such a highly personal choice based on your needs (see the tips), that what might be best for you can be totally unsuitable for someone else.
So, do your homework and if you have any specific questions, tell us what you want to achieve and we can give you a more precise answer.
