    Latency issue? This is mostly the reason for crackling. If they never acted up before, it might be a hardware issue. Perhaps the (USB) cable?

    Power can be an issue too.

    I had it plugged into mains electricity.. no settings have changed from before. I’ll try to test it again tonight.

    Was the mains supply at the club low or different to normal? Other than that, did you have lots of programs open simultaneously (Were you maxing out your CPU?)? What latency settings are you running?

    It was using the same mains supply I usually use… the mac was rebooted and every time the same problems, switching to CDJs to reboot each time…. strange.

    Scheduled tasks setup?
