    I Highly Reccomend that you do not play out with any new versions of DJing software.

    Put the new version through its paces…test it, fuck with it, push it to its limits…then if no flaws play out with it.
    The smallest changes in software can make it do weird things.

    Yes, it’s pretty scary to go to a gig with Traktor 2.6 without testing it for a week in the studio first. Unless you don’t mind 5x more stress while DJ:ing with brand-new SW, of course.

    nope still a huge cpu hog. Staying with 2.0.3

    Hmm i seem to have problems installing it, says the service center is running while it’s not(ended the process tree)
    Weird.. Anyone got the same problem?

    Huge CPU hog? 2.5.1 was actually way better on resources than 2.0.3…

    Teasted it out yesterday I actuall ynotice no difference in CPU between 2.5 and 2.6. Still pretty stable.

    Loving the new effects, EQ and auto-gain features in 2.6, but there does appear to be a lot higher and spikey CPU usage than in 2.1.3. This may just for PC users? Also sometimes (1 in like 10 tunes) when I press Cue to stop the track I’ve mixed out of, the playing track stutters very slightly. Which is a little annoying! Other than that it’s a great update and pretty stable!

    So I did the not so vice thing and played out at halloween party. 6 Hour set with Traktor 2.6 and had no problem, other then the top speaker went dancing of the sub 😀
    2.6 is realy grate I did not use the Flux mode but some of the new FX and they are truly amazing.

    I’ve considered upgrading, but my VCI-400 EGE works flawless with 2.1.3.
