all depends on what you are using…Both PC and Mac people have said there are issues while others have said it works totally fine.

Install it and try it out…it does not overwrite the existing copy of traktor and you can always revert back to 2.1.3

Am using windows on a sony viao…. All preped for DJing and nothing but DJing.

A was just wurried that if i installed it in between gigs and i encounter issues with it i will be rushing to sort it out. But like you said i can always go back to previouse version.

Just export your preferences before you install it. Its really easy to import them and not have all your settings too messed up.

Never play with a new Version until you have had time to do extensive testing with it….I would say at least a full week of trails before u play out with it live…Typically i do new installs on a sunday so i can have a full 5 days of testing before i play out with it.

    Thanks for the sound advice

my main wurry was why change or try and fix something if it is not broke??

but at the same time i don’t want to miss out…..if your with me.

think it’s going to be a case of finding a spell where i have a week or so in between gigs, and just hammer it to make sure that it stands up to the punishment

…… was just wondering what other dj’s out their thought of this new version of traktor?

For the basics of mixing its not really any different. Its still Traktor 2 after all. Not a new version, just a major update.
