Tons of Top-40 pop/dance hits and remixes but never use them?

This is hard to say in general as any location in the world is different, even every town in a country is different in many ways on how to get gigs.

In some cases it helps to make mixes and hand them out (I like to give away cheap 2bucks USB sticks in a nice made folder), sometimes it helps to speak to lots of venue owners and managers, in other cities it pays off to talk to resident DJs and have facebook hits…. and so on. There are tons of articles on the site so do a little digging and I am sure you find countless advise.
