    Well the thing is: Most name drops sound cheesy and are misplaced.

    If you have a good name drop that is actually very good produced and not only you saying your name, then timed correctly into a break and done by a professional… then by all means go for it if it suits your style.

    I only like to use name drops on radio/online mix shows. I usually don’t use them on mixes I place online to download.

    Even with my experience, I’m still working on tweaking the raw audio into a more polished sound.

    Hmmm…Maybe I’ll be creative and do it in Morse Code.

    Yeah, I noticed no one really does it for there Soundcloud mix. Perhaps just putting info in the metatags will do.
