What are your thoughts on the controller?
    Good overall mid priced controller.

How well do you think the scratch performance is?
Personally not so good, but I have seen many do good things. It will never do spin backs and loose scratches due to the break in the jogs.

Cross fader smooth and well built?
Yes it is pretty decent for a build in unit.

Does it have an EQ kill?
If you mean a killswitch: No.
Do you mean does it kill all the frequency if you close the knob fully: Yes.

    User friendly with serato?
Yes, it is build to work with Serato and it shows.

    PLEASE EXPLAIN PAD MODES
Um look at the countless videos (including our own).

What level of a DJ would use this+why do u think so
Well I think the more pro DJs would go for the SX simply because it is a little brighter in low light and the price difference is rather small if you earn money with DJing. The SR however is great to get into Pioneers Pro Line and has almost all the features except full 4 channel mixer and spinning lightshow on the jogs.

This controller is just as good as or better as…
I would prefer (and actually have one) the Terminal Mix 8, as it is all metal and has full 4 channels. Also the jogs are much better for scratching.

    Pros?
Well build, good Serato integration, easy to use, will last you a long time even if you get more pro.

    Cons?
Plastic on many parts, no 4 channel mixer, jogs cannot do some scratch moves due to design.

    Inputs? Outputs?
All excellent, it is on Pro level.

WHAT PC WORKS THE BEST WITH SERATO BUT IS ALSO CHEAP

Any MacBook with Intel Processor with a Core2Duo above 2.2 GHz and 4 Gig RAM.
Yes MacBooks are more expensive, but they are build for music (no drivers needed) and can be bought reasonably cheap 2nd hand.

    ANYTHING ELSE(use over time,tips&tricks)
Get decent speakers and headphones to work with.

I’m most likely forgetting to ask about something just couldn’t think of it at the time
I cannot think of it either.

    Look at this thread: http://www.digitaldjtips.com/topic/how-do-i-know-when-its-time-to-upgrade/
It’s my path towards owning an SR with comments on it after using it for a few months.
