This is more of a production question…

The Max49 should be instantly recognised by Logic. So you can immediately assign new track software instruments to it and at least the piano key section should work instantly. The rest of the mapping (pads, faders,…) you will need to map in the midi settings of logic.
Usually such a setup is quite easy, however I only use Maschine and a quite simple piano keys USB keyboard from M-Audio…
