    1. you will not loose the cuepoint (they will still be there if you open the song in VDJ) but they won’t transer to Traktor so you’ll need to set them again in Traktor.
    2. MC3000 and 6000 will work just fine in Traktor you will not get the same scratch intergration as you’ll get from the jogs of the s2/s4

Thanks so much for the response, I really appreciate it. I am not really a big into scratching but will it still scratch just not as well good as S2/S4 or not at all?

    well.

not as well. scratching still works, just not as tightly mapped. id be willing to bet you won’t notice

I’d be willing to bet the same and most true scratch DJ would probable be using timecode and would not touch the jogs on any controller.

    I think you will notice.
There is a huge scratch delay if the mapping is not good to the jogwheels and IMHO this makes anything but a basic baby scratch pretty much impossible, as your timing with the crossfader will always be off.

And I disagree that a true scratch DJ would only go for turntables:

I’ll take it back then a little although most demo videos of scratch and NI S4 DJ use vinyl and most scratch videos I’ve seen using controllers have been on Serato.
Well after watching some of DJ Angelo’s videos on youtube it seams that he would chose vinyl over a jogwheel anyday but ofcauce if he gets payed to demo a Reloop controller he’s going to use the controller 😀

Well I quote a DJ: “You know I would switch to an NS7 or even TM4, but you get voted down at the ITF for using it.”

It is more Scratch DJ “snobbery” than anything else.
