Hi I can’t go for N4 anyhow as I feel its somewhat high to my budget. Any problem going with Mixtrack Pro? I feel its more suited at the moment considering all angles. You don’t entertain Mixtrack Pro ? Is it work with Ableton of course I use Ableton only after a while. I really unable to understand what u said ” And there is a big difference, if your starting get the mixtrack pro” . You are suggesting or denying ? Sorry for the confusion. Anyhow thanks for still reading the thread with patience. I don’t want to tire others for a long time. From my understanding at the moment I feel there should be two decks or sound source to get the basics of DJing like beat matching ( and more.. ) I feel Mixtrack Pro is enough for me at the moment. Any changes. Also can I learn with my Compaq Laptop with the mentioned specifications with Mixtrack Pro. Sorry and thanks.

BUY THE MIXTRACK PRO, I can’t tell you if its can play with ableton but anyways it brings Virtual DJ LE Software bundled with it so it brings you a great begginers software, actually almost any laptop would be fine, of course if you need to move it or to play better, etc there are better laptops, but to just run the software and learn, any laptop will do, at least for people within a budget.

FYI, the N4 is out. You can order one from Thomann, for instance.

    Check it out: http://www.thomann.de/gb/numark_n4.htm

Mixtrak Pro is a MIDI Ddevice. Any MIDI device can be mapped in a MIDI program.
Ableton Live can be MIDI mapped so Yes! Mixtrak Pro can be mapped for Ableton live.
And if you do not find any mappings to download you will have to map it yourself.
