    let me begin by stating that I’ve been djing for 24 years and am an electrical engineer by day. So to answer your question about the science behind djing, i found that my digital signal processing and analog circuit design classes have allowed me to understand the intricacies of ALL controls (faders, knobs, encoders, etc), waveforms and sound reproduction. tbh its quite fascinating to see things from an engineering perspective. That’s just a starting point for anyone i think.
