SUPER EXCITED!!! Been reading up on the new upgrades all morning. This DEFINITELY puts Serato back at the top of the food chain IMO. “Serato Salute”

Not too keen on the $200 upgrade. Personally thought it was going to be a lot less.

I don’t think it’s too bad a price. A Mixtrack Pro and the Serato DJ upgrade still comes to less than most Itch controllers.

Twice the price of Traktor and 33% more that VDJ upgrade (which many believe is on the expensive side already).
I understand Traktor is very aggressively priced and didn’t really think Serato would go that route, however as i said above, i expected a price far lower than the $200 stated.

Also, don’t forget that VDJ and Traktor offer a choice of virtually any controller, while with Serato you must have a Intro controller in the first place.

I’m into it and I use itch so it’s a free upgrade. It would be nice to be able to map some effects to buttons I don’t use much. I have been switching to traktor but now I may be delaying that switch for a while.

Well given the lack of features in Dj Intro and the super slow progression of Itch, $200 for a fully functional pro level upgrade doesnt seem so bad to me. But then again im a Serato “Stan” and other platforms are just not an option to me. “SERATO FO LIFE!” Lol!

I agree 200 bucks seems fair.
VDJ is more for many controllers (250-290) and Traktor looks cheaper. But you have to consider that with Traktor, I guess like in the past, you have to pay for major upgrades. So when Traktor 3.0 hits the shelf, you have to pay another 90 bucks.
While Serato states, that all upgrades will be free.
You also get all the Itch goodies like whitelabel.net, online playlists etc. whitelabel.net alone might save to buy into a DJ Pool for some DJs, so the price has to be put into perspective.
