Well Shawn Kemmel it is great fun to work with an s4 and an f1, a combo like this is gonna cost a lot of cheese of course but if you can swing it it is great fun. I love dropping a track on the s4, then freestyling out of it on the f1 and freestyling back into another track, or drop an acapella on one of the left decks for example, and freestyle on the f1 on the right deck. The f1 is like the little toy that kids play with that makes sound when you press the buttons but this is definitely the grown man’s version. I think even adding the f1 to any traktor compatible piece of hardware would greatly enhance your sets, but the s4 gives you control over almost all of traktor, although ive found that some menu navigation its easier to just grab the mouse. The f1 is the best way to control those remix decks.

so ive heard. I have watched the review of it on here and mixs with it on youtube and i can tell that it substantially increases the quality of your mixes. A buddy of mine is selling his s4 and a case for 650$ then ill see if i can get a deal on two f1’s casue i believe this is one of the best traktor set ups out there. the creativity you can do with this set up is like no other one out there. i want to start making my own mix’s and this in my viewpoint is the best way to start doing it.
