    Now I’m getting confused?

You are tempted to buy X1 because of the free SW that you already has??
It does not sum up to me….. Please explain!

    To answer your Q:
I think that it is better to use a X1 than to use the keyboard of the computer.
But no as good as a “real” controller.
The lack of jogwheels and pitchslider is the rason for my argument.

I am also intrested to buy an X1 but just to have as extra buttons to use with sampleslots and 4fx units.

Basically I want to sell the free traktor to a mate bringing the price down of the X1.

You say it’s better to have a controller. I have a mixtrack pro, am I better of just using the controller and keyboard than adding an X1?

    Well yes and no.
You are better of buying a better controller (nat that the Mixtrack is bad I hope you know what I mean)
And if you don’t have the budget or if you really like your Mixtrack then you are better of adding the X1
to use as another unit for 4x efx/ampleslots/Deck3/4 and so on…..so that you can skip the keyboard.
    But that is my oppinion….

I would love an S4 but I can’t warrant the expense right now.

Thanks for your opinion anyway ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m really tempted by the free traktor pro 2 offer if you buy one at the minute.

    Hello Steve ๐Ÿ™‚
    I have been looking at the X1 lately; and it looks like a Magical Tool;
However; if you were going to buy it and save on the Full Retail Price by selling Traktor Pro to your Friend; I think you should Definitely read this following Review; as it has been Confirmed by Many that you Only get Traktor LE ๐Ÿ™

I have been waiting to make the transition from CDJ’s to Computer based Djiing for some time and Native Instruments have got it perfect. While you only get Trakor LE instead of the full version, you cannot get better value or equipment for the price. 3 effects, cues, looping and the most simple option of synchronizing songs for perfect beat matching means you can be a DJ with just a laptop and this Dj controller. Had it for nearly a month now and have not had a single issue with it While I will in time be purchasing the S4, I highly recommend this to anyone who is a beginner or trying to get into Djiing before splashing cash on a product that is far more complex and expensive. A great product, simple to use and most importantly, alot of fun!

Really ๐Ÿ™ I’ve seen on many websites that if you purchase, a full pro 2 upgrade is offered? I may have to look into it more.

It seems as though you highly rate the controller. Do you think it would be a good addition to a mixtrack pro?

The X1 is an amazing controller if you’re using it with Traktor because it comes pre-mapped to most of Traktor’s control. You won’t be disappointed.

X1 is a pretty smart controller – it’s one of those products that’s just hit the right nerve with all types of DJs.

I wouldn’t mind an X1. I’ve got my nanoPAD that I bought for production pulling double duty as an FX controller, so I don’t need an X1 but I certainly wouldn’t turn the X1 down.
