    Actually it would be nice to have motorized faders, but those are so very expensive. Probably won’t be seen on controllers soon if ever.

    Like most DJ software, Mixvibes Cross offers you the “pick me up” option when using the pitch fader. As long as you are syncing, you don’t need the fader, but once you do, you just move it to the point where it is in the software and it then “links” your physical fader to your on-screen fader. In essence there is no need to reset the fader everytime.

    Lots of DJs like the visual feedback from a fader and also it’s much easier to start “in the neighborhood” of the tempo you want to be at with a fader than it is with a rotary knob. Don’t know if it is because what I am used to since the SL1200s, but I personally think that a fader is easier to use than a knob for the purpose of pitch control.

    Yes it is all about visual feedback of “are you at the original bpm and how far are you from it”.
    Hence the longer a pitch fader the better and if it has a light indicating it is in the middle, even better.

    I do not use sync, so that does not bother me…
