I understand your concerns as this night has potentially lots of ups and downs.
Make sure lots of preparation as you don’t want the organisers to hit the roof if it does not go well.
I think your son will do a great job and should jump right in.
oh and get paid cash you don’t want the cheque to bounce.

Sorry I’ll get my coat ……., I would go down on a different night and see what goes on music wise.
All the best for the gig.

Teens are the best crowd. Dance music/a little hip hip/some reagge/and at the end of the night some Techno, Teens love this. Then again it all depends the area they live in.

Just make sure not to play any dirty version, dont want to see raging parents storming at you

Arnaldi – depends on their age.. Anything above 16 I wouldn’t bother deliberately playing clean versions – most of them will be singing the explicit lyrics well before that age anyway…

When I’ve done Disco’s at schools (I’ve done some 11 Yr olds and some 8 Yr olds) I have consciously checked the tracks I put into my set list for explicit lyrics.. But it wouldn’t have mattered too much if I had let a couple through by accident..
