    You will have fun swapping headphones all the time, unless you want to use the iPad as a single-deck device.

    Sorry, I don’t really understand your reply.

    I’ve kept researching. I basically want a stand alone mixer that can also be used as an iOS mixer. It seems this isn’t possible – am I wrong?

    From what I understand what your after, the traktor s4 mk2 will work as a standalone mixer and also and traktor dj controller, so you can use 2 channels through ios and 2 with your decks.

    You could also have any 4 channel mixer with and audio 2/6/10 traktor soundcard, a Apple cck adapter and use traktor dj this way then plug your decks into the 2 channels

    sorry you can also use a 2 channels mixer with an audio 2 soundcard as traktor dj Will run through line on your mixer and your technics will be through the phono input but it’s limited to only playing 2 songs at a time. So either.
    one iPad song into iPad song
    one iPad song into one vinyl
    One vinyl into another vinyl
    One vinyl into a iPad song

    If that makes sense
