Go to parties/or watch youtube vids with djs that are better than you, this will amp or hype you up into your djing. Well at least for me.

It just have to become your daily routine, like a few weeks or month after you will eventually feel a need to do it…just be consistent force yourself into doing it. This is the power of your brains: beginnings are hard, because your brains try to convince you in choosing the easiest option, and after you beat them they will eventually become kinda addicted to this certain thing.

I would make mixes when I practiced…recorded them for cassette or CD back in the day. It’s when you push to be perfect.

When you feel “eh”, then feel “eh”. Take a break, be lazy, do something else, have fun in life. You can’t become focused or enjoy it if you’re not in the mood. Of course if you want to work as a DJ then you’ll have to fight through that.

Preciate all the tips I’m down for the just forcing myself to do it after all mixing is a passion and can’t let laziness slow my work
