    How do you know it is static electricity that did it?

    Because I can feel it when I touch the controller.

    Phil,

    That was the first thing that jumped to my mind to.

    OP,
    I would try the simplest solution first and get a cheap, short pair of alligator clip leads and clip one on to the chassis of the Twitch and clip the other end to something metal to serve as a ground and see if you still accumulate this “static buildup” on the twitch.

    markdoobak did you find a solution to this issue? I am having the same problem here with my brand new Twitch
