Place the singer behind your main speakers.
But the monitor in the floor about 2m in front of the vocalist and angle it towards their head (usually the wedge shaped monitors have the right angle).
The K12 is of course no dedicated monitor so it is much more likely to have feedback. So placing it a little farther away and balance with monitor volume might be good. Also try to hit the right angle by placing stuff under it.

Word of caution, you will want to connect your monitor to one of the AUX outputs. The EPM 6 has an output called monitor, but this is ment for studio/booth monitor for the engineer.

The Behringer does NOT have aux output (just an FX send/return) and although you could abuse it to do what you want, if you have the choice (for many other reasons as well) get the EPM6!

Thanks Chuck and Terry. Ok, so I’ll run the mains (15’s) a little wide and forward away from the DJ booth. That way the vocalist is behind the speakers. I’ll place the K12 a few feet away from the DJ table and lay it on the floor as a wedge.

I ordered the EMP6 yesterday and it should be here tomorrow!!! Yes, new gear! LOL Thanks for the word of caution about the using the AUX outputs.
