A controller is good but not necessary. Try customising your keyboard shortcuts. I’d never recommend anything but PA speakers for a party as in the end you’ll blow anything else. But maybe that’s just the kind of parties I throw… 😉

agread phil PA s is a must i used my mordaunt shorts (906i,905i,904i,) for a newyears eve party last year and blew my tweeters on the 906i,s costin me £185 for replacments so i got my self some cheap pa,s (skytec 8″ with horn) sound ok and can be banged out all nite.
