yeah, bishalmallick09@gmail.com is spamming the expletives out of your forums right now with links to some bollocks. Just a heads up, he’s just spammed most of the topics I started, I got notified of the new posts via thunderbird. Peace.

Yep, trying to trash them as they come in. Obviously we will ban any user that does this to prevent them from continuing this behaviour. It’s a pity it happens, even with spamfilters in place.

So, keep reporting if you think we missed one.

    Thanks.

Yeah, filters aren’t always the best solution. I used to admin a forum for tabletop gamers in Alaska. We were able to integrate with automatically, which helped us a WHOLE lot, dunno if that’s an option for you guys or not.

Not a big one. The occasional one that slips through. Gone quickly, the poster banned.

I’m getting redirected to all of these websites. They aren’t spam sites, but they’re places to buy stuff. For example it took me to zzounds.com with a page of the DDJ-SX it’s like these ads except it takes you there instead of where you want to go. I think it could be XSS(cross site scripting) Which makes you’re links take you to another webpage. I think this is usually on web pages written in PHP programming language because it’s easy to hack. It also could be a web browser extension that installed itself. I’m not sure which web browser you guys like but I’m using chrome. I looked it up and chrome extensions can keep coming back if they’re installed on you’re computer. I have to go to my files and delete any chrome extensions. I also got spam mail from DDT but one or two of them could’ve been wrongly categorized.

Could you put a mail in to info@digitaldjtips.com? The web team there can sort out what is happening.

I sent in an email to phil there so hopefully it gets fixed soon. If it’s not happening to anyone else it could just be my pc

I haven’t heard from anybody else, I don’t experience it and nobody has replied to this thread with a “me too” comment, so I am hoping (not for you but for all of us 🙂 ) that it’s just your PC.

I have checked the site with the admin control panel scan and it seems we are clear. So I guess it might be a malware infection on your PC buddy.
