Participantplayed around more with my mac and checked online for some more details. Appearently you can create aggregate sound devices (combining multipe sound interfaces) under users/utilities audio/midi. Tried to play around with that using the s2 sound card and soundflower. Seemed to work normal but still had the issues routing sound from maschine into traktor.
I think i might just buy an external sound card that has enought ins/outs as I know it will prove to be useful to have regardless.

hey so I figured out how to do this on the S2, using the maschine mikro with the soundflower and the file “.mprj” used in the traktor bible tutorial. Had to make an aggregate device (soundflower + S2 soundcard) on my mac then used it in traktor and maschine. Maschine is the slave to Traktor and I have live input from maschine into Deck D of traktor…so I can record my loops from Maschine now
Gonna test it out for a couple days and see if there are any issues…I will post steps on what I did if anyone wants it!

MemberI am actually very interested in this. I might do the same so if it works out well for you, please post the steps on how you did it. Thanks!

ParticipantHi i will try to post what I did later this week. just got back from vacation. The only issue I had with it was after a while there was alot of feedback coming in..I am assuming this is because I may not have routed it properly but maybe you would be able to play around with it and get it to work for you…….I actually recently just bought the komplete Audio 6 so I am just gonna go down that route….more stable, relaible, reduced latency…should be arriving today from NI so im pretty pumped!

Sorry for the delay been quite busy this past couple weeks. Actually been testing out different connections. I stumbled upon another solution.
I got a NI Komplete Audio 6 now so I have been using that the past month. Instead of using Soundflower/Jack Osx I bought some extra cables and did set up manual loop back record with the KA6 so that while Deck D is in live input it picks up on whatever is playing from Maschine.
Basically none of the NI audio interfaces have loop back recording. This basically is a function some interfaces ahve to allow you to capture live audio from anything playing on your computer. I needed this so I could sample songs/videos from you tube using my maschine mikro. Then I noticed after I set it up that it was also playing audio from maschine in traktor without having soundflower enabled. Not sure about the logic behind it however it works without any static/feedback in my speakers and has yet to drop out on me so at this current time looks like a more stable solutionStep One) Plugged this into my headphoen jack of KA6
Step 2
Put one end of this y-splitter cable into the above and the two other ends in the inputs of my KA6. Obviosuly got to adjust the jacks to match your interface. Kind of just stumbled upon this, no expert as to why this is working so if anyone with more knowledge on audio devices/routing can add to this and explain further then that would help
