Well the MC3000 you could go either Virtual DJ Pro which is very expensive (I think 199 upgrade price) or you could try Mixvibes Cross at a much lower price.
Both have demo versions for you to try out.

Yep, good integration with MC3000 as well on Cross. It’s 49 euro/bucks so won’t break the bank.
It’s the software I use (although I have the version that supports video and HID, but that is not important for you at this stage) and it works great.

OMG, upgrade to VDJ8 Pro, ASAP! It’s a stiff investment but you get updates for life and it’s an amazing piece of software with a deep user base. A pro license allows you access to all of the user generated content (effects, skins, etc). Especially if you have already grown accustomed to the lite version . . . I wouldn’t even hesitate. PS I use the MC3000 as my pro rig.

I might have gotten here late but traktor is also an other option in this situation. But the denon will probably integrate with vdj better. VDU also has some functionality with parties. Whatever software you like should be your choice. Everyone has something that suits them. Make sure you don’t choose your software because of a controller since you’ll probably upgrade at some point. Hope you find your favorite
