    Check out some of the Fostex monitors – when I was shopping for new speakers a couple of years ago I was really shocked how these sounded for such little things.

    iLoud Micro Monitors from IK Multimedia is another option too 🙂

    Does the iLoud really monitors? It seems to be more for “multimedia” usage than monitoring.

    Clearly going smaller from the already small-ish Rockit 5s, you will lose – apart from power – a bit of your low end frequency range, maybe going up as high as the mid-60s. Considering a tuned 2.1 system might actually be a serious option to consider. The sub-woofer will fill a lot of the missing low end and sit under your desk not taking up precious space on your desk and the satellites can be a lot smaller as they don’t have to accommodate the 3″ or 4″ speakers.

    Totally off topic tech note for Vintage and the mod team:
    I’ve notice over the past few months a few posts I’ve made with external links have disappeared into a black hole never to be seen again… I assumed it was some sort of overly aggressive anti-spam system, but if it’s doing it to you guys too, you might need to look into it.

    You are totally right, I will loose the low end frequency… only the neighbours will be happy!

    So will go to a good store to try some of them!

    @Todd: There is a probable connection to the anti-spam system, something that can’t easily be changed or pinpointed apparently.

    It seems to happen especially when you try the link option from the “menu”. If you just put the link in the text it (mostly) works.

    Keep reporting problems though, please, it will help us with improvement of the forums.
