I’d definitely recommend the Mixtrack Pro. Also, it’s one of the products that qualifies for the free upgrade to Traktor LE 2, which is a nice bonus.

Exactly what features Does Traktor LE miss from the pro version? I’m really into effects, especially filters.

Ok, but what exactly is Traktor ME? I can’t find any info on it…

It’s a special edition bundled with certain hardware. Version 2 is currently only available with the Pioneer DDJ-T1.

Ok that’s one mystery solved 🙂

Most “modern” controllers have good jogs, but the Mixtrack Pro is ahead of the rest by a log way in value at that end of the market.

Ok, I am convinced by the interface side of things, but how does the sound card compare to others? How much can you stress it? My current sound card is an Edirol FA-101, and I leave it at 5ms. 2ms starts to pop a bit, but 5ms at 48kHz is pretty good, and I have plenty of TS outputs…

How low can you bring the Mixtrack pro’s sound card in traktor at 48kHz?

Are you using a PC or a Mac? I think that how well it performs depends on which you’re using. I know it works really well with CoreAudio on the Mac but on Windows you need to use ASIO4ALL.

PC, and I already use ASIO.

I’ll have to kick this one over to one of the Windows users. I only use mine with a Mac so I can’t comment on latency with Windows.

I don’t own a Mixtrack Pro, but I do own the original. I’ve used it on both PC and Mac, and it runs flawlessly on both! You should be fine on either operating system.
