I would say probably not a great idea to display your playlists. Maybe post a youtube link to a song here or there that you’re really digging. That way you’ll engage any one watching but not give too much away.

If you want to get a following via Facebook post your mixes if people like the music they will ask you for the playlist or titiles of certain tracks.
Everytime I turn my set on I hit record even if I’m not actual planing on doing a full mix. I do a video stream on Blogtv which I post links to on my FB and I also audio stream on Mixify again I post links on Fb. Admitedly I haven’t posted a playlist. I still haven’t got around to uploading anything to Soundcloud but will very soon and these mixes will have a playlist

@Steelo – why don’t you see posting a playlist as a good idea. If you were to put out a mix CD to promoters you would need to included a playlist so why not post it on line with your mix

For some Djing is an art and skill of finding music that moves the crowd. Once in a while it may be ok to post playlists but if you have spent hours and hours of time digging for songs, I wouldn’t want some other DJs to come by to swipe up my hard earned music research. There are a few other reasons why I wouldn’t post my playlist as well. However, if you are spinning songs that are so basic and easy to find, especially if they will die out in a few months, use it temporarily as a marketing tool. Temporarily is the key word because in the end you want people to come out to listen to you whether it is your online radio show or at a venue.
