Well I liked it. I watched it as I tutor some kids in DJing and wanted to get some didactic out of it.
The way Phil does it and goes from the very very basics up to your first gig is a really nice setup and he really gets it done.
I think this is an excellent thing to spend your money on as it will give you a solid base of DJing. It will not make you a controllerist or instant star, but you will have all basics down and can easily DJ any venue if you learn all the stuff presented there. I use the basic structure of his course in my tutoring sessions now and it works like a charm.

Many of us “old schoolers” had to learn things the hard way by mostly teaching yourself as people were more hesitant to share knowledge. You got everything you need to get going in this course and $50 is a small investment for what can be a very rewarding and fulfilling hobby or even career.

Im thinking of doing this course so but I am already quite advanced with Traktor. I want to do it as I want to see the bit about aranging your music in software. Would this course be useful to someone who is already familiar with DJing with software? I personally belive you can never know to much.

I think it is not bad, even for good DJs as the course gives a lot of insight into the basics that even some good DJs are still lacking.

I bought it. It was pretty basic and even asked Phil for a more in-dept course covering scratching, beat girding/ shuffling etc. but i didnt ask for a refund because it was helpful as a refresher.
