    I would definitely get the SL2.
    If money is tight then why go for a DVS system? So if you have to go DVS then your turntables and soundcard are your bread and butter, very important not to save there.
    Of course if you do not have good turntables and cannot pay the upkeep of fresh needle and head supply then it wont matter what soundcard you have. (And yes even for a DVS it is important to have good turntables and good needles…)

    Well for the resale price of the CDJ800s plus the mixer, you prolly have, you could get a kickass Serato DJ controller and have some extra cash for whatever else you like.
