Touch is not for all I think, I played around with it and just don’t like it. I like tactile feedback, a fader I can hold without looking at it and move the moment I need to, a jogwheel I can touch in the blind. But that’s just me. The fact that these did not become the most used controller ever and no other manufacturers ever copied the concept (maybe the needle drop on Pioneers 🙂 ), kinda tells a story that while appealing to some, it’s not for the masses.
So, hard to advice. It’s something you will have to make your mind up about yourself. I am guessing people that have and still use one will tell you it’s the best thing they ever bought. And a few people that had one and sold it will tell you they couldn’t get used to it. And the majority, as I said, probably never gave it a second glance.
I don’t know what you mean by “I fell in love with it AS I mix dance trance, etc. Not sure how the music syle (in this case) ties in with this specific controller.
