    About a year. I sold my decks (CDJ100s :oops:) after leaving high school, and went traveling. It was only when I got to uni that I found a vibrant scene, (and Phil’s blog!) which spurred me on to give this digital thing a go…

    Hello Loso 🙂
    Never be Afraid of ‘Losing Your Touch/Skill’; as Once You Have It; It Is There For Life;
    I had to take an ‘Enforced Break’ and came back in February 2010; and it was not only like I Had Never Been Away;
    I Was Even Better Than I Ever Was;
    If you are still Practising that is Amazing; but maybe in this ‘Time Away’ you could Set Yourself Some Challenges (with your DJ’ing – Style/Genre) just to ‘Keep The Blood Flowing’ 😎

    If you’re still surrounded by music, you’re not “taking a break”… you DJ in your dreams anyway!

    I’d say it takes a long time to lose it. I’ve been so buried in homework and concentrating more on production recently, so I hadn’t DJ’d for 1-3 months until this weekend and most of it was still there, although I’d forgotten how to remember tracks as a DJ (remembering what goes with what and such other DJly things).
