I am running it on an old MacbooPro Core2Duo 2,2 GHz without any problems.

I have an identical MBP and it runs fine on there too. I’m just going to switch. Bad hard drive or memory maybe?

Uh forgot to say: I have 4 Gigs memory and a 7200rpm drive. Dont know if that is maybe a limiting factor for you…
But drives and memory are rather cheap.
