Some people mix off booth speakers on this second signal as well as the phones, so i gather, but dont quote me on that… i mix off phones only
A better use for them in my opinion is for jacking in to a “house ” mixer in a club, (or an analogue mixer at home if you have one) with the output routing configured something like 1&2 deck one, in to one side of the line in on the external mixer, and 3&4 being deck 2 on the other line in on the mixer, using the hose mixers phone socket and cue facilities – 99 times out of 100 they are far superior to use and just so much nicer
