    if this is the wrong place to post this then could it be moved?

    maybe there should be a forum / sub forum to ask preliminary questions on the courses?

    Good question. This is the right place to ask. The DJ Booth forum is for questions DJ-related, including questions on (upcoming) courses.

    By the way. Over on the blog is a post with both a preview and a full curriculum that might answer some of your questions.

    I’d recommend it. I gave the course a good hard think last year, signed up, and…

    …well, to be brutally honest, I’m still mediocre at the baby scratch, and gating at the same time? Just isn’t happening. However, if you have better coordination than I do, you’ll learn some clever techniques. Hell, I can baby scratch a transition now, or even gate one in, and I’d never have tried either if it wasn’t for this course.
