    Now I’m kind of looking all over the internet, I see there are tons of samples out there. But where to start actualy?
    I know this is a very broad question. But what if I have a kontrol S4, and I want to produce some kind of my own music, like making a mash-up between disco and house or down tempo, what kind of loops will I need? What are some basic loops that I should have?

    Here is an explination for creating drops I gave someone on the vdj boards a while ago… you could also replace the “effectrix” vst with the free glitch vst effect which is pretty well the same type of sequencing effect

    In regard loop samples your best bet is to use things like “loop masters”, “mutekki media” & “vengeance” producer packs, they all have every different genre and sub genre of dance music.
