I upgraded to the Mk2 from the Mk1. I had a second hand Mk1 which was fine but I wanted to get the new one as soon as I saw it, however funds would not stretch. I purchased it when the £100 offer was on earlier this year and I do not regret it. The Jogs have been changed to an aluminium top which really seems to improve their performance for me (hard to put a reason on why they do, maybe the weight has an effect?), and the new improved design and RGB function makes the user experience better.
Overall I am happy with it, there were a few issues with the earlier releases (freeze issues) but the firmware update has sorted them out. Definitely an improvement on the original, but YOU have to make the decision on whether it would be worth upgrading or not.
