I switched to Denon SC-2900s which have full length faders and 9″ platters to give me the feeling of my old CD-players … but ! … it worked well enough when I used my MC-6000 which has short pitch-faders.

Shorter faders tend to have a higher resolution (i.e. be more accurate on shorter movement) than long ones.

Again, I never had problems, but perhaps others have something to say about this issue.

    Thank you for your reply!

Maybe I’m too clumsy to use the short ones… . I looked into switching to CDJs as well, but the amount of money i have to shell out opposed to the amount I have available … well, you can guess. Guess i have to cope with it until there’s a Traktor controller with bigger faders.

It may seem not as a big issue to others, but i’m really frustrated how well it worked on the Terminal Mix 4 🙁

I considered going for an DDJ-SX, but that would mean ditching Traktor and the integration of Maschine how i would like it – but thats the most likely thing i would go for, routing Maschine tough a live-channel on the DDj-SX.

I’m very indecisive on what to do,  but maybe i’m seeing to much of a problem there.

You’re right, maybe some one other has a tip/hint for me – second opinions never hurt!

    Greetings! 🙂

There is a setting in traktor that allows you to change the range of the pitch fader. play around with it its in settings/transport- tempo range.
