    I think you should get him to one side and say you expect him to honour meeting times as your time is precious. If he apologises and says he was having a bad day, fine. If not, walk away at that point.

    Call at the time when he can talk…but if he does some BS like this again, move on.

    Yeah… with business owners/managers I usually find that setting up meetings can be a big part of the challenge… I would say definitely visit him during a time that is not a “peak” hour and try set something concrete up, but yeah if he pulls anything like this again I would probably not go through with it.

    ^What they said. Plus, you need to have balls and speak louder. You’d be surprised at how much it matters to have a confident tone in your approach.
