They had a lot of innovations when it first showed up. Alas, going with M-Audio was not good long-term. Always shop around for a company/distributor that actually will support a SW app platform for a very long time.

PS: The first Traktor versions were awful, crashed a lot. But NI kept on refining the application and it’s good to know that NI stands behind this product.

I used Traktor from the point I got Final Scratch 1.2 up until Stanton and Native Instruments split. I tried to keep using my FS gear with Deckadance, but ended up jumping to Torq because of the price point.

With Traktor now I’m glad I’m in what I think is the #1 in the industry, but also that it would take a lot for NI to abandon the product.

Hmm, looks like NI’s thanksgiving deal to buy into Traktor is worth it then – half price…

Still using Torq 1.5, and it does the job for me. If I go to Traktor what improvements can I expect?

Well, 50% off Traktor just now is the best deal of 2012.
