Can you also say why it is you are thinking about replacing your controller, other than just “newer and better?” That will help to inform the conversation, as we don’t really know why you want to replace it yet.

Indeed, tell us what you are looking for in the new controller, besides 1 CD player…

I have recently bought the gemini g4v look for some reviews

Just my personal opinion, going from an N4 Numark to a Gemini g4v would not qualify as an upgrade.

I’d also drop the American DJ, it’s not in the same league as the others you mention. NV, MC6000 and TM8 are all viable choices, but so wide apart in features offered, that i am guessing you haven’t started by charting your workflow and working from there.

I would add the new Denon MCX8000 to your consideration list though.

Again, once we know a bit more about your workflow/type of DJ you are we might be able to help more.

I made the upgrade from the Numark N4 to a Denon MC6000 Mk1 a couple of years ago. I now run a Mk2. I chose the Denon because I wanted to stay with Virtual DJ and wanted a resilient controller that enabled me to have other DJ’s plug in CDJ’s and/or turntables. The Denon fits the bill for me and still does.
