beatmix… It’s jog has 600 ticks per revolution Vs. the mixage’s 128. The effect section has 3 absolute knobs and 1 encoder, whereas the mixage has 1 absolute and 3 encoders. Don’t know whether the eq knobs are push to kill, but I would avoid the controller that has them if any as it cheapens the whole feel of the controller with the most used controls.

The beatmix also comes with VDJ LE so you are eligible for a small discount on upgrading to VDJ Pro which will become a much more valuable software on the release of VDJ8.

Only thing to bear in mind is the absolute build quality of the Mixage is better than the rather plasticky Beatmix.

Get a flightcase and the plastic chassis should make no difference ;).

I do not know if this affects you or not, but unfortunately Reloop products are not available in the states lol. Hopefully though, you either live in Europe or have found them in the states. But I personally would buy the Beatmix if you can because it is cheaper, I don’t have any experience with them unfortunately though. 😉

Some seem to be available stateside, though they seem to be pretty hard to get for sure.
