    Not sure if it’s spacebar in RBDJ that switches view from player to library and back, but that is what it is in Mixvibes Cross.

    Don’t forget, RekordBox also lets you float off the library/browser as a seperate window.

    If you’ve got an external monitor, you can move your library to a 2nd screen.

    Thanks Ian,

    Just finding my feet not only Rekordbox but also DJing as I very much a new school novice.

    Any advice is welcome…

    If OPs plan is to use the same laptop on the road – I’m guessing external monitors are out of the question. To that end I’d recommend getting used to seeing everything on one monitor.

    Not necessarily.

    I brought one of these last week, with a view to using it for this very purpose.

    I do take your point though. My plan isn’t probably one that most people would choose to do.
