    You could just use audacity on your laptop and have it running behind Itch. You would just have to set the soundcard input in the options. The m-audio is

    I have heard that if you record via your internal soundcard that sound wasn’t up to par…is it true?

    It works fine for me. I go from my mixer in to the mic input on the Laptop. Once it’s recorded I master the recording so the levels and right. I use a Ground loop between the mixer and Laptop to cut down any buzzing that might be fed through.
    Here a rough mix mix that took I spent about 10min mastering and 30min converting to Mp3 for upload

    I wanted to do a quick test for mix cloud so it’s not the best quality but Audacity is a option you should look at before buying a hardware solution.

    great! thanks! will try it out tonight! those mixes sound really good!…well worth it to save the extra $$$
