    You can record from within Traktor (I assumed you have Pro)

    I have Duo 2… I can always record with a second laptop but I was just wondering the best way to do it with one.

    Do you happen to know the reason why the sound drops out for 1-2 seconds every few minutes? Its crystal clear for the rest

    Its the ASIO drivers that, mate.. something is conflicting with them. 🙁

    Recording in Audacity, go to:
    Edit
    preferences or Ctrl +P
    Devices -at the top -and select whatever your souncard Line In
    Then select recording and uncheck the top 2 boxes and set the quality you desire in the next settings

    I was using an Audio2 on my old laptop (recently got a Mac and a new controller with sound built in) and I was getting drop outs about once an hour for a half a sec. It didn’t happen with my laptop before that. I tried all different settings and was still getting it, So i searched the internet and I found other people with the same issue with a similar laptop specs. Check your specs on your laptop and google around, it might just be a setting, but you might have the dreaded same combo that i had where there is nothing you can do about it.
