    Is it the headphones?
    What speakers did you use when mixing?

    The mix sounds fine in the speakers, it’s very bass heavy in my headphones during the mix and after the recording. I’m thinking I’ll need to record using the bass on the mixer at halfway to avoid this.

    The mixer on the SX is analog. I never had a problem recording in Serato so it seems at least something is off here.

    Not sure why there’s too much bass. Would using a booth out connection to my pc help?

    My guess would be no in this case.
