Love the party story man I am a DJ at college right now to which is cool, plus we got basically the same setup.

If you absolutely love the Serato Intro and that is all you are used to then your route would be to look online for recording software that allows you to still use the mixtracks sound card, otherwise it would be advised to use a program like VDJ or Traktor to record yours songs.

I love VDJ for a lot of things but recording is the best, uses the right sound card and records directly into WAV so it sounds crisp, plus your NMP alll ready has a solid TSI for VDJ so your plug and play baby

Thanks man ! Soon as I have some free time I’ll look into some recording software. I do like Serato, but I’m always willing to experiment with new software. Hopefully they have mappings for the Mixtrack Pro.

My advice is do not go right to traktor, get VDJ and try it out, it will literally be plug and play with your mixtrack pro so no set up required. Although I really like traktor I do not care what any one says it is a bitch to set up and to learn, it is like a mix between production software and a DJ software and I am very basic (which is why I will buy the new serato software the day it comes out with whatever controller I have to buy to get it) so It has a big learning curve, if you need any direct help with VDJ I have done it all so PM me or ask me on this page and I will literally draw it all out for you, I really enjoy VDJ
