    For Zumba you can get away with any upbeat latin pop, merengue or salsa songs. Instrumentals and minor amounts of vocals would work so as not to clash with the voice of whoever is leading.

    Indeed Mambo, Merengue, Salsa, Samba, … but as many Zumba instructors like different beats and BPM I would ask for the phone number of the instructor and align the music selection with her/him.

    Thanks for both recommendations. I’m definitely planning to contact the instructor. I’ve got plenty of songs already in those genres, so I will be in good shape. I must admit I had heard about Zumba but never paid any attention to it.
