I didn’t even think about sound compression when it comes to the EQ and hadn’t even thought about setting the 4 band EQ (kinda assumed it was NI’s version of Xone squished in to 3 bands)…I’ll look that up. On my bedroom speakers I can hear a pretty clear difference and the lower down the list you go, the less harsh and coloured the music sounds. I guess I thought that instead of compressing the audio, that it wasn’t boosting as much. Something I will look in to…
Yeah, If there was an Easy way to map the 4 EQs for the xone on my S4 i totally would use it…but since it is 1-1 integration and cant be modifed…I think there is a way so you can use the existing maping and just map the bottom 2 EQs to the low Knob on the S4 but i really havent played around with it.
That Said i use the P600 Eq as i do agree that the classic EQ just doesnt sound right, and is super sensitive…
