    It all depends what you are looking for.

    Complete control over 2 remix decks? 2 F1’s

    1 remix deck and 1 FX unit, then probably X1 F1.

    Although I currently use my F1 for 1 remix deck, and also to control effects (and even a 3rd deck with transport controls and EQ’s sometimes) although had to get dirty with mappings.

    So it depends what you are looking to get out of your unit

    I do like the idea of 2 F1’s for samples, but even one F1 has 64 samples so that may be plenty. I dunno, maybe i’ll return an F1 when they arrive.

    I cannot see why you would want an X1 if you have an S4 already…
    The only question is if you want one or two F1s in my opinion.

    Thats what i was thinking also. I just could not understand the upside to having an X1 when u have an S4. Like i said, i wasnt completely sold on the X1. Unless there is some phenomenal thing that it does better than the S4. Thanks for the reply……..it helped.
