    Do you have any other programs you run at the same time as Traktor? (yes, it is an obvious question to some, but the obvious must be addressed in troubleshooting)

    Pc, 4gb DDR3 Memory, amd quad core radeon, 640gb HDD.

    Ok. Thank God. I have absolutely nothing against Mac, don’t get me wrong, I love how streamlined and clean they are. But I know absolutely nothing about them. While running Traktor with them, have you tried running the Task Manager?

    I did but nothing seemed to be using that much juice. It doesnt seem to be a problem, i just got a little spooked when traktor froze. This was only the second time it froze and after a reboot i was fine. My laptop PC has worked good, and hopefully it will continue to do so.

    A little load increase would probably be expected. I mean, you’re adding more faders / lights / commands for Traktor to tell what to do, so it would increase the load a little. if its not slowing crazily, just a split second or so, you should be fine. Also, if it is the first time you were plugging it it, it might have just had to get used to having the new hardware plugged up

    That may be the case. I’ll watch some YouTube videos and see if there are any settings that could bring it down a little. Thanks!

    I get the same on my 4GB mac sometimes. Just get random spikes in the load. Only does it when I have wifi and a load of other stuff going though. I restart mac before a gig and never had an issue when playing out. Only when I am crazily mashing buttons at home

    I changed some settings and its fine now. Guess i panicked when it froze because i had a job today. Thanks for replying.
